What motivated you to run for the North Dakota Legislature? (100 words max)
I am motivated to run because I love my country, my state, and my community. I support democracy and the freedoms it provides. I believe that even good things can be made better.
What personal, professional, or community experiences have best prepared you to serve as a State Legislator? (100 words max)
I am a mother, a grandmother, and a nurse. These roles have provided me with opportunities to form relationships with diverse groups of people. Within my professional roles, I have held bedside roles, to management and administrative roles. Nursing has given me many opportunities, that I may not have had in other fields. These roles have provided me with the ability to work cooperatively with others and to compromise as needed.
