Childcare seems to be a constant issues across the board. Working with fellow legislators to come up with solutions that will fix the issue with the tools available at the state seems the most sensible way to address the issue.
Special assessments, seem to be on everyone's mind up in North Fargo, looking at trying to something at the state level to regulate them seems permissible if Fargo cannot keep them for hurting the economy. Still would want to investigate this further with the state resources to for a well crafted policy solution.

Lobby on behalf of districts interests, sponsor bills and legislation from my constituents, learn as much as I can to better serve the people

I think we need to look at keeping ND a competitive labor market. We need to look at immigration as a way to fill roles in the short term. Long term we need to get the birth rate to at least a replacement rate.

I support the legacy fund and investments in ND from it. I will do whatever I can to bring research grants and projects to NDSU. I will ensure that we keep investing in higher ed.
