Q&A with Jim:

  • I am running for public office because of my love of West Fargo and North Dakota. I have a deep commitment to the people of West Fargo, its future, and the strength of our community and state.

  • My educational and civic experience, knowledge and passion for the community of West Fargo. I understand the needs and challenges of West Fargo. I've had a lot of great conversations with my neighbors throughout District 13 and have been able to hear directly about their concerns.

  • Education: North Dakota has no greater priority than supporting public education.

Educating our kids is not a savings plan. It is an investment.

Public Safety: Support for our law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders giving them the resources and equipment needed to do the jobs at the best of their abilities.

Tax Relief: Smart fiscal responsibility with continued tax reform must be a priority.

Tax dollars must be used efficiently and avoid waste.

  • Educational Funding, Public Safety, and Economic Development

  • Solving the workforce challenge will take collaboration and innovation from businesses, educational institutions, communities, and the state working together to recruit, train, our workforce. Improve access to technical education programs and child care. I believe there are tremendous opportunities for today's workforce and for future generations.

  • Protect and improve North Dakota's business climate. Defend free market principles with common sense regulatory policies. A fair and equitable tax structure for the citizens of North Dakota.
