Workforce and Job Creation - With insights gained from my community roles, I will focus on developing a skilled workforce, vital for job creation and sustaining our local industries.

Addressing Homelessness - Drawing on my healthcare and public service background, I will approach homelessness as an integral part of the county's economic health, advocating for comprehensive solutions that benefit the entire community.

  • I bring a wealth of experience from over 20 years of law enforcement and community service, equipping me to better understand the needs of Cass County. I have gained insight from my numerous community roles including serving on community boards and my volunteerism for numerous nonprofit organizations. My work experience in the healthcare industry has provided me opportunities to understand the importance of wellness as in integral part of the county's overall health.

  • I strongly believe that quality of life concerns are some of the most import issues facing Cass County. The safety and security of our communities are one of the pillars of that quality of life. I see issues such as crime, homelessness, and substance abuse as key factors that contribute to a potential decline in our communities. I want to work together with community members to address these issues.

  • One of the great appeals of Cass County has always been its quality of life. People are looking for opportunities to live and raise a family in a place that offer safety, opportunity, and prosperity. I believe the best way to attract and retain great people is to continue to make Cass County a safe place with great amenities We need to continue to invest in the important areas of our communities, such as education, infrastructure and public safety.

  • Housing and business development incentives have shown to be successful in certain circumstances. I believe when utilized in a thoughtful and fiscally responsible way they have the ability to help with economic growth. We must be always mindful that incentives should be only used only as a tool to assist in community growth and prosperity. I would support the responsible use of these types of incentives to continue the economic growth of our communities.

  • Access to affordable housing and home ownership are critical factors of a successful community. I believe the first step in addressing any issue is better understanding the underlining cause of the problem. We need to continue to engage with all of the stakeholders to develop a comprehensive plan to address the issue.
