  • Kelly Armstrong is a lifelong, devoted North Dakotan and a tireless advocate for making North Dakota a better place to live, work, and raise a family. With his background in business, his love for the outdoors, and his volunteer and public service record, Kelly is fighting for our North Dakota values in Washington and working to advance positive change to benefit our state and our country.

    Kelly grew up in Dickinson, earned his bachelor’s degree from UND and his law degree in 2003 from UND too. He met Kjersti and they married in 2004. Kelly and Kjersti have two children Anna and Eli. Kelly was elected to the ND Senate in 2012 representing District 36. He spearheaded legislation to reform our DUI laws and pass a $2 billion statewide investment into our infrastructure. Kelly was elected Chairman of the ND Republican Party in 2015. He led the party to landslide victories for President Donald Trump, Gov Doug Burgum, and ND Legislative Majorities. Kelly was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, where he serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the Committee on the Judiciary, and the House Select Subcommittee. Kelly announced his run for Governor of the great state of North Dakota in January of 2023.
