Kent Wolford has been a resident of Moorhead since 1990. A retired teacher, Kent dedicated 39 years to teaching in grades K-12. He served in a variety of positions for Education Moorhead from 1994-2008 including President and negotiator. Kent and his wife Becky have four sons, all former Spuds, and are the proud grandparents to three grandchildren.

Attracting and developing the best, diverse educators to serve Moorhead students. Funding and using taxpayers dollars are always challenges. We must be accountable and transparent.

Moorhead's vision of "Developing the maximum potential of every learner to thrive in a changing world" has been a goal since the 1990s. To support that vision, I would: work to provide accountability and transparency, create and provide an atmosphere of openness and mutual respect for all stakeholders.
