Kevin Campbell
Clay County Commission District 4 Candidate
I have proudly served District 4 since 2003. I also spent 40 years as an accountant before retiring in 2015. I am excited about the things we have accomplished in making Clay County the fastest growing county in Northwest MN. I look forward to serving an expanded District which now includes Precinct 4 of Ward 2. I appreciate your support this November.

Work Force, Mental Health Issues and Housing/childcare are critical. Workforce needs are great and we need to be recruiting a workforce for our current needs as well as to be able to expand business opportunities. This goes hand in hand with available housing and childcare. Mental Issues need to be addressed to improve lifestyles and safer communities.

To continue the hard work I have been doing for the past 20 years. Clay County is growing and I want to continue the work to keep us moving forward. I will continue to work with legislators to be sure our border cities legislation is kept in tact and even improved. Competing with different tax structures from another state can be challenging without legislative support. Continue making Clay County a wonderful place to live, work and play.

There are 2, mental health and workforce. The negative stigma of mental health issues unfortunately is still here. Being able to connect those with problems to appropriate support is extremely important. When someone tries to get help for a mental health issue they should not be put on a waiting list! This will require Federal, State and Local involvement to improve. Workforce shortages must be addressed for a growing and stable economy and the services that come with it.
