  • 1.Public Safety. The continued support of a full staff of the Sheriff’s Department, appropriately compensated.

    2.County Projects. The dedication of appropriate amounts of CARE and ARPA funds to pay for projects that would otherwise require the sale of bonds and the commitment of general fund dollars, thereby avoiding the raising of taxes.

    3.Education. The continued support of the Workforce Academy so that we can provide skilled employees to meet the needs of the ever-increasing industry and business growth of Cass County.

  • The overall management of available funds to accomplish the needs of the county without the raising of taxes. This can be accomplished by the retention and hiring of capable department heads and working with them to provide the services the county desires.

  • Mr. Breitling graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in 1962 and a Juris Doctorate degree in 1965. He served as a staff attorney with the Legislative Research Counsel, the Legal Office for the North Dakota Legislature, through February of 1997.
