  • Explore tax and special assessment relief for residents.

Support responsible, sustainable growth, and attract and retain valuable businesses.

Enhance family programs and interconnect neighborhoods.

  • I have been a teacher for 19 years at the high school and college level. I support and advocate for students every day. I organize field trips, lead clubs, and sit on committees at every school at which I have worked. I listen, care, and help the students to be successful. I also have volunteered as president or VP of Horace Elementary PTO since 2019, teaching Lego Robotics Club at the school since 2018.

  • The growth! I support innovative, sustainable growth for our community. I support attracting and retaining businesses in Horace that bring value to the community and help relieve the financial burden from residents. With the growth, I would like to see Horace still feel like a small town, with community events and safe connectivity between neighborhoods. We can keep Horace's small town charm.

  • I strongly support businesses coming to Horace. I support incentives such as TIF districts, Renaissance Zones, and PILOT projects, based on the project and area of town. I also support efficient infrastructure design to costs down, and make sure businesses are assessed equitably. I support housing at every income level.

  • I support the tax abatement. Horace is a growing and thriving community. The decision on where to plant a business or raise a family is important. We want to make sure people choosing to move their business or family to Horace feel welcome, and have financial benefit.

  • It is important to have diverse housing products available for families with varying income levels and stages of life, such as homes, townhomes, apartments, etc. I will support well-designed neighborhoods that offer these diverse housing products, as long as they don’t sacrifice the character and small town feel of our city.
