Q&A with Thomas:

  • I am running because I believe that legislatiors should care about the communities they serve. I have always believed that government should be helping people and I want to fight to make that a reality.

  • My greatest experience that prepared me is my work in pest control. I need to be able to adapt to any situation and be able to solve problems quickly. Every situation is different and that is just like politics, I will be well equipped to handle any situation that may arise.

  • The biggest challenges in district 27 is childcare and infrastructure. I will work to improve childcare by getting funding for people to be able to open new facilities and hire staff and pay them a livable wage. I would also fight to get infrastructure dollars into Horace where they can put the money to work right away.

  • My 3 biggest priorities are: putting the universal hot lunch program back into ND schools, securing infrastructure dollars into our communities, and making sure that childcare is affordable.

  • I would work closely with city abd state leaders to make sure that workers are paid a livable wage and they are protected.

  • I believe that we can develop several tools that encourage business without having to resort to tax breaks. However, I would use every thing that we can to make sure that our district is as successful as possible.
