I have a wide array of life experiences that qualify me for the position. In a past life I've worked for oil companies, UPS, residential plumbers and electricians, coca cola, title companies, etc. I am now a licensed attorney and an elected official on the NDPERS Board of Trustees.

Affordability. Lowering taxes by identifying efficiencies and not having to find the tax some where else to make up for the loss of revenue

Strategic implementation of economic development incentives. Ensuring public safety is prioritized. Unprecedented and careful consideration of all stakeholders in the community.

They can be useful but should only be used when absolutely necessary.

Allowing special assessments to be financed through the issuance and utilization of municipal bonds. While they are controversial, they provide many resident-level benefits and allow for more competition between developers.
